DAY 2: Bantry - Glanlough

Walk through the grounds of Bantry House before quiet farm roads lead you uphill to a beautiful ridge walk with stunning views over both sides of the Peninsula.
DAY 3: Glanlough - Cahergal

Today you have the chance to climb to Seefin - the highest point on the Peninsula at 345m. Sit down and watch the Beara Peninsula and the Mizen Head Peninsula stretch out into the Atlantic Ocean.
DAY 4: Cahergal - Kilcrohane
23km • 6 - 8 hours • (↑) 590m
To the end of the world and back! The
lighthouse at the tip of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula really does seem like the edge of civilisation. Without doubt, one of the finest walks in Ireland.
DAY 5: Kilcrohane - Durrus
18km • 4 - 6 hours • (↑) 320m
Following old country roads and farm tracks you pass many ancient settlements and burial grounds as you return inland towards Durrus.
DAY 6: Durrus - Bantry
20km • 5 - 7 hours • (↑) 450m
The Four Mile Water River leads you away from Durrus and then uphill to the "Top of the Wind". Deserted old country roads take you all the way back into Bantry.
DAY 7: Departure from Bantry
