CV Tips
A well-prepared CV doesn't guarantee you a job interview. However, a poorly-prepared CV almost certainly means you won't be called for interview! Here are some tips to help you create a CV that will catch our attention:
- Tailor your CV according to the job we are advertising. Highlight any relevant experience or education you have so that we notice it straightaway.
- Don't overload your CV with irrelevant information. Focus on providing information that is likely to be of interest to us.
- Use a summary section "intro" on your CV to give us a brief idea of your background and key strengths. Make this section very short and strong.
- Keep the document neat and easy to read. We suggest a font size between 10 and 12 for the body text of your CV.
- Sell yourself to us. Take the opportunity to make a positive impression so we have no choice but to call you for interview.
- Be honest.

Part-Time Walking Pack Administrator

Hillwalk Tours, based in Galway City, are passionate about delivering the best walking holidays to our customers from around the world. We are a company that prides itself on creating experiences that make people happy – employees, customers and suppliers.
We are looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and dedicated candidate to fill a 6-month, part-time contract (22.5 hrs per week) from Monday 13th January - Friday 3rd July, 2020.
This position would ideally suit a college student, or a suitably qualified individual seeking flexibility and/or work-life balance. You will be part of a high performing and supportive team and will receive full training to carry out the role.
Main Responsibilities:
Fully create the walking pack(s) for a target number of customer bookings per week:
- Printing of all customer booking documents (duplex printing where applicable)
- Checking that all suppliers have a Personalised Itinerary document
- Contacting the Product Team with required details if a supplier does not have a Personalised Itinerary document
- Binding of documents and dividers in correct order
- Assembling of bound documents together with maps, map case, map reading booklet, luggage tags, postcard, voucher and other regional specific items
- Checking customer postal address is correct
- Printing an address label and attaching other required labels to envelope
- Marking the pack as created on our software system
Finish creating a target number of packs partially created by another part-time team member:
- Binding of documents and dividers in correct order
- Assembling of bound documents and inserting all required walking pack materials and regional specific items
- Checking customer postal address is correct
- Printing an address label and attaching other required labels to envelope
- Marking the pack as created on our software system
- Completing other ad-hoc tasks as required
- Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times
Location: Galway City, Ireland
Terms: €12.50 per hours, part-time, 6 month contract
